Cult hit Minecraft has sold four million copies.
The game's creator Markus 'Notch' Persson celebrated on Twitter, jubiliantly tweeting "4milyay". (He's a man of few words.)
Despite its impressive sales figures, Minecraft is still in beta. Since the game launched back in 2009, well over 16 million people have registed to play the sandbox building game.
The full version of Minecraft is due for release later this month. Meanwhile a version of the game for the Xbox 360 with Kinect support is currently being developed by 4J Studios.
