Monopoly for $29.99

When I read that Monopoly had been added to download through via Xbox Live, I thought, "Monopoly's a great social game, perfect for a console. What a nice addition to Xbox Live Arcade." Except it's not XBLA, it's part of Games On Demand (released by Electronic Arts last fall at retail) and costs -- wait for it --$29.99. Granted, I'm being incredibly judgmental, having not actually played the Xbox 360 version.

Still, $29.99? This seems like a perfect opportunity for the digital version to come a little cheaper than the retail version (especially since this version of the game doesn't come with Xbox Live play, only local multiplayer), but hey, that's just me.

It is an outrageous price, imo. Only thing it can do better than the home boardgame, is count the money faster and there's no pieces to pick up and organize after the game is over.
