I saw it when it had first came out. 
I really liked it. Not sure if I liked it more then the first, but definitely about equal. Surprisingly good mood, in my opinion.

Waited for sequel, but gave prequel. Screw that.

I watched it with a friend a year or two ago. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good. I feel like Monster's Inc didn't really need a prequel. Though, it was nice to see how they connected this movie with the original.

kind of hard to do a sequel in a world which everything was resolved.
