Do you think there'll be more 1 Seater cars in the future?

In japan they are already exist, and every year the space is getting smaller. Also here in my country, one of the most problem is the car traffic.

1 seater cars is a good choice for people who want a cheap small vehicle which offers more protection than a motorcycle, scooter, and bicycle which does not have a hard case body protecting the rider.

But, one of the advantages of a motorcycle, bicycle, or scooter is that the rider can quickly jump off the bike if they don't have enough time to avoid an accident, or riding a bike onto the sidewalk to avoid an accident with a car, animal, or object on the road.

Not sure if I would want to own one but I would love to give it a try.

I am not sure if I want to own one, and I want to give one a try.

Very small cars don't look very good for some poorly maintained North American roads with pot holes, cracks, and garbage which accidentally drop from people's cars and trucks. There are also a lot of speed bumps which may make these very small cars uncomfortable to ride in, and speed bumps may damage these smaller cars easier compared to an average size car with bigger tires.

Well, it's a bit surprising but if they help in reducing traffic, then I would love to see them more soon.

I have never really thought of owning one before though.

In an accident you likely do not have time to jump off. By the time you know what's going on, it's already too late.

Even if you did have enough time, jumping off is more than likely to get you hurt worse than staying on the bike. I mean jumping off a bike into traffic is likely to get you hit. Plus when you land you're going to be doing so at whatever speed the bike was going (again increasing injury potential). If you stay on the bike it's going to absorb some of the impact instead of you taking it all directly (depending on the type of accident of course).

As for these one seat cars, they might be popular in crowded countries like Japan with single people. But they're probably not going to catch on in many other places or for those who are married/in a relationship. Others need the option to carry more people or the extra room for more storage capacity.
