The online retailer Gamestar slipped some details about Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy in a new listing. According to them, the PSP sequel will add some tournament-style features, where multiple players take part, and those who aren't currently fighting will be able to watch the current battle on their PSP as it goes on.
Some other features include improved wireless support as well as the ability to exchange friend cards with other players, and you'll be able to create and exchange original quests. It's been previously revealed that the story of the original Dissidia Final Fantasy will be included in Dissidia Duodecim Final Fantasy, and be playable with Duodecim's new battle system. To access this, however, you'll have to clear Duodecim's story mode first. The original game's story has been updated with some new short scenarios.
The RPG mode, which was also announced previously, takes you through a large world with varying terrain which includes snow fields, deserts and swamps with rainfall. As you advance in the RPG mode, you'll be able to form your party with your preferred characters.
Those who have the original Dissidia Final Fantasy video game will see some bonuses. Importing your data from the original game allows you to carry your character level over, and you'll also recieve a special accessory.
