Swirlix, the fairy type pokemon has a new move called "Draining Kiss" which works like absorb.
Inkay, the Dark/psychic type evolves into malamar by holding the 3ds upside down while leveling up
Xernea's signiture move is Geomancy, and Yveltal's is Oblivion Wing
The new regional pokedex has been split into Coast, West and Central
The "Player Search System" builds on the C-Gear from 5th Gen. You will be able to battle/trade anywhere in the game, without having to visit a pokemon centre to do so.
Quitting a Wi-Fi battle counts as a loss, which should discourage ragequitters
GTS trade searching is no longer limited by which pokemon you've seen. You'll be able to search for any pokemon, sesen or not.
Can send messages to those on your 3DS friends list
Can take photos in the game, like AC:NL, and share them on FB and twitter

What do you all think about these features, specifically Inkay's evolution method and the fact you'll be able to use the GTS from anywhere?
Still waiting to know if they will be able to include all the pokemon on both version from Gen 1 to current gen so we dnt have to go back and trade them all from older games again.
I want to know if I can trade from Gen. 4 directly to the new game without having to need BW/BW2 to do so. I have some shiny Pokemon I would like to transfer to the new game.

Um... It's impossible to move gen 1 Pkm to R/E/S cuz the ev thing is different and Sp. D. hasn't been made in 1998. However moving gen 3 pkm and above could work. Cool beans! We'll just have to wait and see on serebii.

Obviously you misunderstood Jorlon. What meant was he wants all Pokemon from past generations to be divided between both Pokemon X & Y to be able catch all Pokemon without having to trade them.
It is also not impossible to trade Pokemon from generation 1 because its been done before by plenty of people.
I say good luck to GF for trying to get all the pkm in the series to be split into 2 (3?,5?) games. I do wish however that migrating is swapped to trading like Gen 2. I think there'll be like 650+ pkm so good luck getting Gen 5 pkm other than maybe the starters. That might not be a problem though if the GTS is like it says it is.

SouthTex_Smoke was right with what i was saying. I wasn't saying anything about bringing pokemon from R/B/Y/S/G, I was trying to say that i wouldn't want to trade my pokemon from my gen 3,4,5 and the remakes to X and Y. It would be a lot easier if they had 85%-90% of all the pokemon already in X and Y and then I could trade the ones that are missing.
