PS3 Slim Bundled with Gundam in Japan
The slimline PlayStation 3 is an international release, with near simultaneous release dates in North America, Europe, and Japan. But Sony's home territory is getting slightly special treatment.
A few hours after the redesign was announced, Namco Bandai announced a special bundle that combines the new system with Gundam Senki, the latest Gundam game. The bundle pairs the new PS3 with a retail copy of the game's first print edition, which itself comes with download codes for a couple of Mobile Suit downloads and an anime download from Sony's video store.
Sony and Namco Bandai are asking 38,359 yen for the bundle. This is about the same as buying the PS3 at 29,980 yen and the game at 8,329 yen (yes, it's really 80 bucks!).

Is Sony Planning a 250GB PS3 Slim?
Just yesterday, Sony finally revealed its revised PlayStation 3 Slim model. The company only showed off one SKU, however, which featured a 120GB harddrive. But a recently discovered FCC test report says Sony is also planning to release a premium model with increased storage.
As spotted by PS3News, Sand Dollar Enterprise, Inc. filed the report, but the company shares the same building address as Sony's Foster City office. The report was also represented by Riley Russle, SCEA's General Council (lawyer). So it looks like Sony tried to hide the FCC filing through a different company name.
It's possible this model may never be released. But given the frequent amount of new hardware bundles with increased storage space we've seen so far this generation, don't expect Sony to sit on their 120GB version for too long.
