More Wii U games to be announced this autumn?

I think he's saying that they plan to announce them when the Wii U is released as to build hype for the console and hopefully get people to buy into it in anticipation of the games coming next year.

Here's what was said:

In the near term, with the introduction of the Nintendo 3DS XL followed by new software titles in July and August, the most important issue is to what degree we can change thebusiness momentum of the Nintendo 3DS in the world. Then, subsequently, when we launch the Wii U, we intend to announce the next step by saying what will happen in the future, and by doing this, we would like to change the evaluation in the market.

So they're currently concentrating on the 3DS and will concentrate on the Wii U when it launches.

But what games will be announced? My guess is that some mention will be made of the next Zelda game, at least to say 'here's a work in progress title, maybe a bit of concept art, something is coming in a few years'. Maybe some discussion of 3D Mario and Mario Kart since they're basically seen as that thing to announce shortly after launch for a few years later. Various other franchises too.

Because they've got to sell people on the console there and then, to get people to buy it to play Nintendo's upcoming games. So I think their strategy is going to be to announce the 2013 and onwards games later as a sort of carrot on stick to incentivise people to buy a Wii U.

Intresting well this does make sense since nintendo didnt show too much of their games on the wii U mostly third party I admit they diid have a point about their ideas getting stolen its happend before and like you said nin3ds they need to pull more people in too to buy the console and enjoy the games they make it would be great to see some more new games now is a good time to show some wii u exclusives.

The 3ds was shown a great lign up at e3 but I guess more are on the way which is great even though this is a longshot I hope we get some info about a new advance wars game!.

What would be great seller I think for the wii u espeacially in japan is a new pokemon game for the wii u something like pokemon coliseum or pokemon battle revolution imagine seeing pokemon in 1080p and having cool battles it would be a great way to promote the nintendo network too and to show that nintendo can have excellent online capabilities since they are pushing black and white 2 a wii u pokemon game that connects to them would be great and also introduce 3ds-wii u compatibility.
