New Line cinema revealed today that it is developing a big screen Mortal Kombat movie to be made by Kevin Tancharoen, the guy who directed the Mortal Kombat: Legacy films, films that were born of a fan-film with no official affiliation with the original product.
The writer of the web series, Oren Uziel, will write the big-screen adaptation, but the movie will not serve as an extension of the game or digital series.
