Most common insults you see by trolls on the internet?

I mostly see insults related to being gay, and mentally challenge. I don't get it. Why do some people feel it is OK to make fun of gays, and being mentally challenge on the internet? Both groups don't have a choice of being gay or having mental problems.

I don't see as many racist remarks, but I still come across them from time to time. Again, people can't pick their race, so it is kind of stupid to make fun of people's race or having a different accent.
