To me, I will say the goal that Japan socred against Spain in their last group match was filled with controversy. When I look back, I strongly believe that goal shouldn't have stood. Which one is yours?

With all the use of technology in football, they still get simple things wrong.

Do you remember how CR7 goal against Serbia in World Cup qualifier was disallowed.

Agreed. Clearly self interested rather than interested in the overall team performance as he caused a bit of a commotion with it that was better left unsaid.
That sounds like you're being biased. What did he do in that match that showed he wasn't a team player.? Did you actually watch that match?

I haven’t said anything about the actual match, but yes I watched it. Think he’s a team player on the pitch. He was as a substitute yesterday. Think it’s when he’s off it that he likes to make everything about him. I used to be a big Ronaldo fan but opinions have changed a bit since his recent United stint.

I believe your first response was on the actual match where the OP said he was trying to claim

With this your response.

As for what happened with him in United, he's got his reasons and I agree with some of them.

I will create a new thread on it, so we don't derail this OP's topic.

I think the coach has done so well in bringing balance to the team. Ronaldo's news will always sell, so the media can always come up with anyone.

Exactly! It's the media that's bulking into everything he does and makes him look the evil guy just to sell papers.

What's the ref's name that took charge of Argentina vs France in final? He was given 3/10 rating for his performance in the match.
Giving penalties to team was too cheap in the tournament. Argentina got more than any other team.

You need to watch this video. He was definitely poor.

Well, I still don't think he had a very poor game considering the fact that a lot of fans applauded his officiating.
