My portable CD player, which in the 5 or so years I've had it has gone through some crazy-ass abuse....but plays like new!
my parents old black stereo, it sits outside all through the seasons and weather and it still works like new. I be damned if any current made things could do that.
I own a portable CD player as well. I drop it from a few feet, and it still works. I also used to spend three+ hours or more everyday listening to it. It still works great.
