Microsoft claims they sold twice as many consoles as Sony during "Black Friday" week. Microsoft is basing their numbers on "Estimates from top retailers." They confirmed that they had 310,000 Xbox 360s, a figure first quoted on CNBC's tech check blog. But Sony is like, no way.
"It's (Sony Computer Entertainment America) policy not to disclose our unit sales numbers until NPD numbers are officially released which will be December 13th," A Sony Spokesperson told Seattlepi.com "However, I can assure you that Microsoft's estimates of our PS3 unit sales numbers are way off and they did not outsell PS3 2:1 during Black Friday week."
