Another growing season has come to an end, which a middle finger from mother nature as we got a few days of cold snap killing most of my stuff and now the weather is back up to the 70s

That would only bring the rain clouds near. And would bring crows closer rather than to scare them away.

I live in a neighborhood, I can't be putting up stuff like that

Though I have someone next to me with a one piece flag out, got to step up lol.

Sadly as mention in my first post, most of them died out and then got warm again, mother nature is a cruel mistress.

Yes mother nature is a cruel mistress as you work so hard to get your garden to grown them when it does mother nature ruins it.

Love your flowers! Do you prefer annuals or perennials more? I tend to do both. Annuals give that pop of color before the perennials even start coming through.
We had some frost as well that killed my flowers. My sweet alyssum are still blooming & still fragrant. I learned that a few years ago. They still bloom even when there's snow on the ground!

I enjoy both myself, whatever goes well. Some things really fight the cold well, I still have snap dragons blooming despite the cold.
