April 26th is national pretzel day! Anyone here enjoy this dry salty snack?

Happy National Pretzel Day!

I like how salty, crunchy and dry Pretzels are. They also don't crumble as easily as potato chips and crackers.

I still don't think I've had a proper pretzel. Got a sample from Aunty Anne's once which was quite nice but it was soft so not even sure if it was a pretzel.

If I'm going to have a pretzel, it's usually the soft ones at Aunty Anne's. They have a soft one with cinnamon on it, those are really good. But those are normally sweet and not salty.

Pretzels are good any day of the week but they are either soft bread-like or crunchy sometimes with seasoning and I will eat either. But not paired with beer because I might get a gut.

I'm guessing that's what I had then. It was soft but I always assumed all pretzels were hard.

I hadn't realized how much I liked pretzels until I came across this thread. My daughter and I are literally snacking on some pretzel sticks right now.

Butter spindles... I'm not familiar with those. We had the local store brand pretzel sticks last night. We usually go for Snyders of Hanover brand though.

I used to always eat pretzels. The hot, soft ones dipped in mustard were great. Of course, I dipped the hard ones in mustard too lol Try it, you may like it!
We don't do wheat anymore & haven't found a way to make them ourselves.
For those who like pretzels, what kind do you get? Small sticks, thicker ones, pretzel shaped? I remember going to the dentist when I was younger & they'd have the thicker, rod shaped ones for kids. I don't know why lol But at least it wasn't sugar!

I'm more into the wheat rod ones myself. Have a tannish color.
