Read from CBR:
Eagle-eyed users on Reddit noticed a LinkedIn profile for quality assurance tester Corey Hong lists several duties at Naughty Dog, including testing and development support for The Last of Us Part II and Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves. However, two stuck out the most: One is at the bottom of the list and reads, "QA testing and development support + Level Point of Contact for unannounced remake project." The other was listed in the middle and reads, "QA testing and development support on environment design for unannounced multiplayer project."
"unannounced remake project" could be The Last of Us remake that's been in the rumor mill for some time. First reported last year, 2013's The Last of Us is supposedly getting a PlayStation 5 remake with the graphics and play quality of its 2020 sequel, The Last of Us Part II. Reportedly, the remake was initially supposed to be handled by Sony's Visual Arts Service Group, directed by Michael Mumbauer. Funding for the project got pulled, and it was then handed back to Naughty Dog, the game's original developers.
