To be honest, when I opened it, I expected it to be a lot heavier and bulkier, kinda' like the original Ds, which I find kind of threatening because of it's size, the 3DS may be capable of over-heating, having low battery life or crashing! To be honest, Nintendo has completely redeemed itself of any over-heating from the past (Like the Nintendo 64 console) Anyway, back on topic; my judgement was extremely wrong. It's very light and "slender" as some people would say. The positioning of the lights are appropriate are sure to attract the gamer's attention, for example, if the 3DS' battery was low, the red light on the bottom-right of the top screen would flash red.
Talking of positioning, there is one thing I'm not so keen on; and that's where they put the classic directional pad (Up, down, left, right) though, it is understandable because the joystick would need to be on the same side, hogging the space, haha. You know, maybe it's a metaphor that the new joystick is pushing the classic directional pad away! The 3D: Now this has been "tickling my brain" for a while now. Dear, mums and dads, buy your son or daughter the 3DS! The 3D feature is changeable! But in all seriousness, the 3D slider is located on the bottom-right of the top screen again (Yes, just above the sometimes "flashing red light" I mentioned earlier.) and it takes no effort at all, you can litterally slide the 3D on and off, hopefully not harming your chlid's eyes and there is parental control like the Wii, if you didn't know, parental control will limit certain content that your young ones may find innapropriate. One last thing for you guys to think about; if you haven't yet bought the 3DS or at least TRIED to play the 3DS, then I 110% reccomend that you buy one. The feeling of when you take this beautiful machinery out of it's boxing is, just, amazing! Don't listen to other people, enjoy 3D without glasses for once! Now, I don't want to spoil it too much so, thanks for reading and I'll talk to you guys later! Leave me your opinions.
