Just when you thought that Pokemon Go was dying out...

Nearly 8000 Starbucks Stores Are Now 'Pokemon Go' Gyms and PokeStops

Caffeinated Pokemon Go trainers will have their experience changed Friday.

The game's creative team announced Thursday a deal with coffee giant Starbucks to be an official partner. Starting Thursday, the chain's 7,800-plus stops will become Gyms and PokeStops. Starbucks will also create a Pokemon Go-themed Frappucino.

Prior to the official partnership, some Starbucks locations capitalized on Pok?mon Go's massive popularity in the summer and concocted drinks inspired by the mobile game.

There should be more pocket-sized surprises on the horizon. An announcement Wednesday by game-maker Niantic revealed the game's partnership with Sprint and teased forthcoming information about more monsters that will be added.

Yeah, it's not dead yet. It's less popular, cause the fad died down a bit, but there's definitely a hardcore audience keeping it going and playing on a regular basis, and that numbers in the millions.
