Anyone know where I could get a MS acess like program? I need it for a class and open office won't work with the needed database ending extension.

Bestbuy, your college bookstore, and places which sells Microsoft Office 2013 Professional which come bundled with Access as part of the whole Office 2013 Professional package.

I think it probably be cheapest to ask your school if they sell Microsoft Office Professional for a cheaper price for students.

Unfortunately, I think you can't buy Access seperately, and need to buy the whole Office 2013 retail box.

Although, if you need an older version of MS Office like 2007-2010, it may be harder to find.

Sadly, I think there are no good free programs which can replace MS Access, and most likely you need to learn Access user interface for Access which is more complicated than Word, Excel, and Powerpoint where Open Office can be used as a free alternative.

If your school has a deal with Microsoft, you can sometimes download it for free from your student Microsoft account for your school, or buy it at a cheaper price like under $100 which is an okay deal since you also get Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, and OneNote which costs hundreds at retail stores.
