I'm in the market for a new mouse you guys. I managed to drop it in such a way as to now I can no longer right click. Any recommendations? I prefer wired.

Haven't used my own mouse in years but if it isn't used for gaming any suggestions here would suit me. But since I use a laptop I have no need for it unless I had a game I really wanted to try on PC.

I been using Amazon Basics 3-Button Wired USB Mouse which I bought from Amazon for around $10, and it has been working well for an affordable mouse. It is kind of small, so it can be somewhat less comfortable to use if you have big hands.

I don't mind spending a bit more if I can justify the cost. The last one I had was a Razer which I bought for like $20. I wouldn't mind getting it again because well... it's not so much that the brand is trash, I just had a mishap and broke mine. I'm open to suggestions. I work on my laptop 7 hours per day and a mouse just makes it so much easier to navigate through spreadsheets and such.

Not wired but I use this at the moment and it's really good. Comfortable to use and I've never encountered any issues. The battery lasts a very long time too!

Is there a particular reason why you prefer wired though?

I'm a creature of habit I guess. I've had too many instances when my bluetooth connection would crap out or batteries would run low. I've grown a preference to wired mice over the years.

Is there a tech store in your area you can look at them, might be easier to try out a few.

I feel it is best to test out a few mouse at a store like Bestbuy and Staples. But, I'm not sure if you can still try out mouses because of Covid restrictions.

I think demos are discouraged now, not sure when I will be cleared to go into public (waiting on COVID test results).
