Just a bit of gameplay for the next need for speed game. It launches on November 10 for PS4 and Xbox One.

I haven't looked online yet but I really do hope that there a PC version. The game looks quite fun to be honest.

Looks like a standard Need for Speed game to me. Nothing to be too excited about personally.
Yep, same here. I think that there's so many of these type of games currently already available. The market is a bit overflown with them. I do understand that they have to keep making new to earn money but it just doesn't seem too new or exciting for me. Until they actually add a lot of new features or blow my mind with some awesome announcements, I won't be buying it.

However, I did use to play Need for Speed 2 like twenty years ago, haha. Now that was a good game. It was still so unique in the whole driving genre and that's what made it good.

I don't know if I would say it looks like a standard Need for Speed game, since it reminds me more of the Burnout series than NFS. Even the name, "Payback," I could've sworn that was the subtitle for a past Burnout game.

Speaking of which, is Criterion developing this? Cause I know they've done a few Need for Speed games before and this looks a lot like their style.

And I'm gonna sound like a douche but it's adorable when NFS games try to include a story, it always ends up so corny. Sometimes corny in a good way, more often not so much. All in all the gameplay does look fun though.

This doesn't look so good, same old NFS, albeit additional of rather uninteresting story. Lame from Ghost games, I was expecting something more creative. I will still buy the game thou, Ghost games earned that long ago.

Enough said basically. Nothing will ever beat the old Need For Speed titles like Most Wanted 05' and Underground 2. They go down as some of the best racing games ever made in my opinion. I stopped following after the release of Carbon in 2006. All the other ones just became generic racing gameplay in my opinion. Personally, I hated Most Wanted 12' but Criterion Games. The whole car switching and handling controls were off. Combine that with a whack storyline, felt like buying a flat fizzy drink.

It was at this point I got into other racing titles like Forza, Dirt, and Gran Turismo over time.

Perhaps it might not be your standard NFS game, but it will come to the same old things in the end. Crazy and unrealistic physics, collisions, escaping and ramming police and that kind of stuff. Although those are the things pretty much every NFS player enjoyed. When I used to play NFS: Online, I was mostly doing cop missions as ramming cops is fun
