During a Nintendo Direct today, Nintendo revealed NES Remix 2, a follow-up to last year’s surprise Wii U eShop game. NES Remix 2 is due out on April 25 for $14.99 and includes the following 12 games this time around:
- Ice Hockey
- Wario’s Woods
- Zelda II: The Adventure of Link
- Super Mario Bros. 2
- Super Mario Bros. 2 (Lost Levels)
- Super Mario Bros. 3
- Dr. Mario
- Kirby’s Adventure
- Kid Icarus
- Punch-Out
- Metroid
- NES Open Tournament Golf
Like last time, the games are “remixed” to feature new challenges, plus fun scenarios like Samus shooting through blocks in Mario Bros. or Link fighting a Koopa Troopa with a sword.
NES Remix 2 will also include Super Luigi Bros., letting players run through Mario Bros. levels as our favorite plumber's greener brother, including moves like his signature high jump.
