QUOTE The phone and cable companies are scrambling to kill Net Neutrality so they can inspect and filter content, and overcharge you for using the Web in ways they don't like. Over the past six months alone, these companies have hired 500 lobbyists in Washington to try to stop this bill from becoming law.
If you all out there are concerned about the future of the Internet, now is the time to act. Take this time today to contact your congressional representative and tell them that you want Net Neutrality now. Be sure to tell your friends and relatives to get involved, too. Together we will make sure the future of the Internet remains bright for all Americans.
I did it too, but just for the sake of actually proving a point. Instead of relying on the site to send it to your represetative for you, you should copy it and then print it out and actually mail it to your representative as well.
Internet petitions rarely make it far because people believe once they add their signature to it, they've done all that they can. When in actuality, they've done very little, to almost nothing to actually help their cause.
Besides, why stop at just your local representative, what about your state's govenor, senator, or even the president himself? Why should your letter and opinion go to only one person?

Not yet, depends on the current backlog of responses they receive about various issues. It may be several weeks before they get to you, but they read them all.

I got something, about a week ago I think.

I already heard from my representative. That's what made me wander if anyone else has.
Obviously the giant corporations are just trying to find a way to improve themselves and strike down all the other little ant-site. I'm not going to take any action on this though. I'll have to more research on this and make my decision on whether to send a letter or not.
