Netflix now lets Android users download movies and shows onto SD storage

It was a truly glorious day when Netflix announced offline downloads, but maybe less impactful for those of you with limited storage on your smartphone or tablet. Today Netflix is taking a step to help Android users stuck in that situation; you can now store those downloaded movies and TV shows on microSD cards.

This is good news for people who have bad internet service on their Android device when connected to cellular instead of wi-fi or ethernet.

I think the owner of the movie or TV show may not want to allow offline playback in the past to prevent piracy, but Netflix convince them offline playback is a good idea, and will make more people watch their shows.

Plus, Netflix may of force movie owners to allow offline playback available for their movie, or their movie will be removed from Netflix's website.

That is pretty cool for sure about what Netflix is doing. They might have not been allowed to before but they met an agreement with whoever they had to deal with so they can allow this to happen. Great move by Netflix.
