Activision confirmed on its earnings call last night that it's to release a new James Bond game this year.
While specific details weren't announced, Singularity developer Raven Software has long been rumoured to be working on an upcoming Bond title, which is reportedly a stealth affair.
Activision Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg said: "For the balance of the year, we plan to launch games based on the best-selling X-Men and Spider-Man franchises, James Bond and the toy phenomenon Bakugan as well as the latest release in the long-standing Cabela's Hunting franchise."
Bond isn't set to return to the big screen until November 2012. A seemingly separate movie tie-in game has reportedly been given the green light too.
