Capcom held a stage event for the Wii version of Tatsunoko VS Capcom on the first day of the Tokyo Game Show. Producer Ryouta Niizuma took the stage to share new details on the port.
Following an airing of the new opening anime that will be included in the home version, Niizuma announced that two new characters are being prepared especially for home players. He then showed fighting gameplay for the two characters, Jun from Gachaman and Roll from the Rockman series.
The rest of the stage show mostly recapped previously revealed details on mini games and the option for a simplified control scheme. While it was previously known that the game would support the Classic Controller for those who want the full arcade experience, Niizuma revealed that the GameCube controller would also be an option.
