An unannounced Diablo project of some sort is officially in development, Blizzard has revealed. A job listing on the company's website confirms as much, although--this being a job posting and not a proper announcement--there aren't any real details about what to expect.

The job opening is for a dungeon artist on the Diablo franchise, but the game is listed as an "unannounced project." The description makes it clear upfront that this position will be working on something new: "The minions of Hell are growing stronger... We're working on a new, unannounced Diablo project."

Really enjoyed Diablo 3, so hope it is a new title in the franchise. Looks like we are in very early stages for it whatever it is.

I hope that if they really are working on a new Diablo game, it's an improvement over Diablo 3. I'm not entirely sure what it was about Diablo 3, but I didn't enjoy it nearly as much as Diablo 2. Just to make sure it wasn't nostalgia clouding my opinion, I popped in Diablo 2 a while ago and found the game to be much more enjoyable. The level design and atmosphere were better, the music was top notch, the weapon and armor variety was insane, and it had better replayability.

Not to mention Diablo 3 also left a bad taste in my mouth after Blizzard banned me for "gold farming." The kicker? I hadn't logged into my Diablo account for months, only to find that message upon logging in to play some co-op with a friend. I tried to explain how I probably got hacked somehow and it wasn't my fault, but Blizzard wasn't having any of it. They basically took my $60 and prevented me from playing a game offline, which I paid for.

Stupid system, and I hope they ditch it for the new Diablo, but highly unlikely.
 
These type of titles usually wait a few years until they announce a release date. However, I’m sure that we can expect a bunch of leaks before then.
 
Hope they will release another Diablo game soon and I'm sure most of the gamer will totally love it. I'm pretty sure that it is a mystery for us who are waiting to release a new Diablo game!
