Since the Discord server is an extension to Nintendo 3DS Central and Gaming Latest, all members who join the server will need to be a member of Nintendo 3DS Central and/or Gaming Latest before they can be approved! No non-forum members will be allowed to participate in the server until they join at least Nintendo 3DS Central! Any existing non-members will lose posting permissions (and be given the @Pending Membership role) until they post a link to their Nintendo 3DS Central user profile in the
proof-of-forum-registration channel! All Gaming Latest members are exempt from this rule, though they are still encouraged to join Nintendo 3DS Central anyway!
Anyone who joins the server from Gaming Latest will need to post their profile link in the designated channel to get their membership finalized (and I'll see what I can do about getting this bypassed for Gaming Latest members so none of them will have to go through the approval process!)
This change was made to support our forums over the support of discord, since discord owns everything in there, and they are a threat to online message boards!
