First and for most, the forum upgrade completed without a problem! The major change come from it is, to deter very simple posting from new members, is that they now have to make 30 character length posts before it will go through. Once you get promoted to full gamer though, you will no longer have this limit.

Also the award system is finally fixed, I'll slowly be adding awards through out the month and post a topic later saying why you should be aiming to get them!

If you notice any issues, please let me know.
 
Similar system used on my forum (except there, one needs to make 200 posts to be a Full Member)! Hopefully that can reduce the amount of low quality posts, and instead allow new members to get acquainted with the nature of the forum! Good job!

I don't mind weak quailty, but even I have tolerance limits.
 
I think that unless there is a dedicated place for it, spamming is just disliked by almost everyone! It's just like cheating to increase one's post count, it clutters the forums, makes one look immature, oh, and here's one that many people may not consider when spamming: It can also mess up the search results that search engines such as Google or Bing provide! That's why most places don't want members responding to spam! When it gets down to that, then that's where the line is drawn, right?

We should keep the 30 character length posts but ask the new users to make at least 10 posts before being a full GL member.

That's really great.
I am sure people need good amount of posts first and they need quality as well. You can always delete zero post accounts
 
Wow this is getting strictly implemented and I have heard that spam accounts attracts other spam accounts.
Now we wouldn't have to worry about that
