New Pokemon Scheduled for 2010

Nintendo of America revealed today that the upcoming DS/DSi remakes of Pokemon Gold and Pokemon Silver, shipping in Japan next month, will be released in the US and Europe this Spring 2010.

The company also revealed that the latest version of the RPG series, Pokemon Platinum Edition, has sold through more than 5.66 million copies since its release.

Pokemon HeartGold and Pokemon SoulSilver are remakes of the Game Boy Color title and will feature enhanced graphics, sound and contain a bunch of new items and options not found in the original.

Looks to be about several months away, I'm looking forward to the new Pokemon remakes. It's impressive to hear that Platinum had a great sellout after its release.
