Sounds like a promising game.

Despite what the butthurt side of the fandom say, I think it looks good. As long as it leans more toward Color Splash than Sticker Star, anyway. Though, this looks so much different from both of them so I'm hoping it breaks away from the formula of both of them just enough. Like no more stickers/cards... or I'll keep the stickers and cards as long as they get rid of the Things idea. Like, I like the idea of Things, but I don't like how they're needed in a certain boss fight and it's not obvious until you're in the boss fight. So I never end up using my Things.

Actually, this game is leaning a bit toward the original Paper Mario. I've beaten the first boss and made some progress, but so far it's so much fun. It's better than both SS and CS combined. If it keeps this up, it'll definitely be in the top tier of new Paper Mario.

Also, I don't think Paper Mario will ever be an RPG again. I think I saw a long time ago, I would find the article, but it was like 2015 or so when I saw it. However, they said that they moved Paper Mario from being an RPG because Mario and Luigi filled the RPG aspect of Mario so they wanted to change it up for Paper Mario. So I don't see it returning to form. However, I think it would be cool to get a remake of Paper Mario 1 or TYD with the new paper look. That would be interesting.

Good to hear its doing well, I'll have to pick this up for sure.
