New Sony Consoles Announced Tomorrow

What do you guys think of the new "upgraded" Playstation 4's that sony is announcing tomorrow? I'm not that interested in them but I hope that by introducing them they lower the price on the "current" PS4 models to clear their remaining inventory :).

The two new models include the PS4 "Slim" - which is basically identical in terms of specs and hardware to the current PS4, just a more slender version.

And the PS4 Neo - which no one is quite sure if it'll be an add-on to the PS4, or a separate system. This PS4 is made to take advantage of 4k HDTV sets. I have no plans of purchasing such an expensive TV, so to me, the extra graphical processing power is not a big selling point.

I'm still looking forward to learning more about them tomorrow.
 
Well, I like the idea, but I'm not sure if they'll be separate systems or not. Hope so, that'd be pretty cool to be honest.

Sony already confirmed that PS4 neo will play PS4 games, though to what extent is unknown and I hope by all that is gaming they make it clear tomorrow.
 
After watching the presentation, I'm pretty sure I'm going to pick up the PS4 Slim next week. I've been saving giftcards that I've won or earned through blogging etc and finally have about $300. I've wanted a PS4 for a long time now, mostly for Persona 5 coming out next year, and the new Final Fantasy, as well as the remake for 7. Star Ocean, Atelier series and lots of others. :). It's about $50 cheaper than the old PS4, and I'm still just not sold on the need for the extra graphics as I don't plan to buy PSVR or a 4k tv or other things in the foreseeable future.
