Dat Golden Statue
So, the golden statue everyone's been talking about. Well, it's finally been seen, and confirmed, and....
....At this point in time, does a big fat pile of nothing. In fact, all it functions for is....
A new, alternative title screen. So far, it's unkown if this is all you get, but if it is, I doubt I'll bother trying to collect this many Coins. All that work for a new title screen. Well, so much for playing as a Golden Mario in all levels or something. But hey, who knows, something else might pop up....
Playable Luigi
It's been revealed that Luigi is playable in Single Player. Similar to the first New SUper Mario Bros., press L and R when selecting a file to play as Mario's brother.
World Unlocks
Simply complete the level to unlock the corresponding world:
World 2 - Complete W1-Castle
World 3 - Complete W2-Castle
World 4 - Complete W3-Castle
World 5 - Complete W4-Castle
World 6 - Complete W5-Castle
World Mushroom - Complete W1-Cannon
World Flower - Complete W2-Cannon
World Star - Complete W6-Castle
Other Stuff
I'm too lazy, so I'll just mention it and link you to it. Firstly, completing specific tasks gets you stars next to your Save File. Check the source link below for more information on getting those.
Secondly, there are several Rainbow Courses to unlock. They can be played through once, and then disappear. To get them, finish any level in the World with certain numbers on the clock. Again, check the sources below for more information on doing so.
