I've had this link opened up for a few days, but seeing the lack of reports on it, I decided to forward it instead.

During the "Hakurei* Shrine Reitaisai*" that will be held today (6 May), several Touhou fan games ports for PS4 and Nintendo Switch will be showcased.

The games are (format = game title, platform(s), circle that is publishing it):
  • Mysterious Gensoukyou - Lotus Labyrinth -(PlayStation®4・Nintendo Switch)(AQUA STYLE)
  • Yoi Yami Dancers(PlayStation®4)(tripper_room&Ikai Kaiyuu)
  • Touhou Gensoukikou(PlayStation®4・Nintendo Switch)(CUBETYPE)
  • Touhou Sky Arena: Gensoukyou Air War Princess -MATSURI- CLIMAX(Nintendo Switch version)(Region ZERO)
Includes a free uchiwa*, only to players that have played the game.
  • Touhou Gensoumaroku W(PlayStation®4 version)(Strayberry Bouzu)
  • Marisa and Alice's Trap Tower!(Nintendo Switch version)(Desunoya☆)

The rest of the article covers games that are already for sale, and things related to the festival itself.

Notes:
・"Hakurei" is the last name of the Touhou character "Reimu".
・Reitaisai is a word meaning a festival that's regularly being held.
Uchiwa is a Japanese style fan.

So are these like small series coming to PS4 and Switch?

Touhou is rather a subculture.
A single person makes all the original shooting games for PC, and gives the fans of the series the freedom to create fan games, art, anime, manga, merchandise, etc.
All the PS4 and Switch games listed are fan made games re-published from PC to console, many of these are really good too.

Sounds like a practice that Sony, Nintendo and MS should embrace.

Saw some English trailer:

This is among the reasons how Touhou stands out from all the other vertical shooters; instead of using space ships, it uses anime-like girls with magic powers.
There's also a Seihou made by the same guy, which has a more western style approach (Touhou is eastern style), but ZUN only ended up making 3 of these games, and no longer bothered afterwards.
