Well, I guess this was inevitable so let's get started. Me, well I have a few things to get through the door here regarding both offline and online life so let's get personal, shall we?
Offline, IRL
-Become a better Artist: My doodles have been praised before left and right but I never look at them and get that "wow I made that" feel from my stuff. Only a recent picture I made has made me muster that result due to the style I achieved in the drawing. Until I can push these drawing out faster and more effectively, they will always be doodles to me.
-Get a better paying job: Retail is tiring, pays little and when you are a guy, they expect a lot more than just ringing at a register. I'd have no issue with this if they offered raises where I work but that'd be convenient.
-Do more things daily: the above mentioned job really takes a lot of energy out of you. For me, recently it's been- Work, sleep, video games, PC, sleep, repeat. It's something I need to work on.
-Spend less on Video Games: Gaming is expensive. I don't see this one happening but yeah.
Online
-Be more active on this forum: as a MEMBER and less of an authority figure. I need to post more and get to know some members here. The community needs to expand.
-More Artwork in Gallery: Does anybody use the gallery anymore? It's pretty neat.
-Online games with Members: FITE ME IRL! or at least in Smash, Mario Kart, or maybe go on a hunt in Monster Hunter.
-Join more online communities: I've only ever been a part of this "series" of forums actively, and before then the only site I used much was "Gametalk" which has since seen its end. I have joined other sites only to never return to them. DSU, N3DSC, and our current version of the site are the only community sites I really take part in.
And I guess that about covers the jist of it for me. Let's hear some of yours. Oh, and while I'm here I'll take the time to thank everyone who has been a part of this website (or the ones before it) whether you are a new or old member. It's interesting how I kinda got to watch some of you grow up, so to speak (at least if you have been a member since the DSU days). I've made (and lost) some very interesting friends here. Here's hoping for another year of interesting and mindless rants, arguments, discussions and shoutbox spam wars. Have a Happy New Year, everyone.
