Next Gen Games to Cost Double in Development Costs

It's kind of strange that it would cost double since I expect there are a lot of graduates from video game courses in College which are willing to work for less money because of the poor economy, or just to get started working making video games at a company. Plus, there is always cheaper video game workers from India, Russia, China, and Taiwan which can be paid a lot less to code and design video games in 3rd-world countries where the wages are less.

I probably totally switch to Valve's Steam service, Streaming games like Onlive, Gaikai, and look for alternative consoles like the Ouya for Google Android if games cost 80-120 dollars .

I see some gamers switching to playing mostly indie games or games made by smaller studios like Mojang who makes Minecraft, and the Ouya game console which is attracting a lot of attention from indie game developers.

Mobile gaming on Tablet, Smartphone, and Gaming Laptop gotten a lot better these days, too, so people have more choice on where to buy affordable games which are enjoyable.

It will be the end of gaming if they think they can charge us anymore more than $60. I can budge on $70 but no higher.

$60 is pushing it in itself. Even if each game is 100 hours long, I don't have the damn time to play the games. I want like $40 games that are roughly 30 hours, RPG's are an exception though.

Well they better not, I doubt they will to, and if somehow games are this much theyll have a hard time selling.

I agree if games cost too much they have harder time selling them since now there are many cheaper alternatives for cheap games like Steam, PC, Mobile gaming via iOS and Android, and soon Ouya game console where all games will be free to play with DLC or digital money like Gil, and Gold purchase options for fans.

Onlive 9.99 monthly streaming plan could also be competition if games are so expensive.
