I will wait and see if it is any good first... I doubt I will buy it though as my current Xbox is fine as it is.

Unless they can get Halo 5 as a launch title I may not be interested in buying this system on day one.

It will take have to look pretty darn good graphics and specifications wise for me to buy the console on launch without Halo 5 being a launch title.

Otherwise this really isn't that surprising for me.

Microsoft never denied that they where making a new Xbox to begin with, they only said that the Xbox 360's "life cycle" isn't complete yet and they have no intention on releasing a new console until that "life cycle" ends.

Seems like there's a new console everywhere that's coming out in 2012.
Xbox will be compatible with the Kinect2 and will play on Blu-Ray.

I thought sony had complete rights to blu-ray?

This Xbox won't be around until at least 2013/14. Also, how could Sony own the rights to it?

I'm excited to hear this, but like ToCool said, as much as I play and love my Xbox, this may not be a day one purchase for me without Halo 5. Hopefully the new Xbox will have BluRay though, that'd be quite nice.
