Nintendo saw a nice sales bump thanks to Black Friday.
The company sold 600,000 Wii consoles and 900,000 combined DS units between Sunday, Nov. 21, and Saturday, Nov. 27 in the Unites States, totaling 1.5 million combined hardware units, according to internal sales estimates.
"U.S. shoppers bought about 9,000 Nintendo hardware systems nonstop for every hour of every day during the week of Black Friday," said Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime.
Sales remained relatively flat year-over-year, however. In 2009, Nintendo sold 550,000 Wiis and one million DS consoles during the same time period.

I'm surprised that so many Wiis were sold.
