Ninja Gaiden Sigma Gets New Mode

Fan of PlayStation 3's ninja simulation Ninja Gaiden Sigma are in for a treat: The second of three new downloadable survival modes for the game is now available on the PlayStation Network.

The “Speed Masterâ€￾ download features five survival battles in which time and the power gauge are limited. The player’s objective is to beat enemies as accurately and quickly as possible in order to become the ultimate speed master. According to Tecmo, "Players must master skills and acrobatics to survive. As a bonus, players who achieve 30, 50, and 100 kills earn a bronze, silver, and gold scarab, respectively. Through the PLAYSTATION Network, players can compete with users from around the world by uploading their score."

It's only $2.99, so there isn't much to lose. The next NGS download is scheduled for the end of the month.
