Nintendo 3DS Central actually celebrates 2 birthdays!
1st one, which is happening tomorrow, is the less important birthday that celebrates the day that I opened my first forum on the LONG defunct forum host Pro-Forums in 2009!
The 2nd one is what matters: September 5th is the date the current generation of Nintendo 3DS Central (NDSCentral for earlier generations) opened! That would be our Anniversary!
Simply put:
August 14th, Nintendo 3DS Central's birthday, the day the first forum opened, not as important
September 5th, Nintendo 3DS Central's anniversary, the day the current generation of the forums opened, much more important!

Much like this forum, Nintendo 3DS Central has had an odd history of what it became today! I'm still incredibly bummed out on how few pages were saved into the wayback machine for the first 2 forums... In fact, only 1 topic from the first forum actually survives today! Link:
