The price currently converts to an equivalent $354.57 or £220.67, making it the second most expensive behind the UK, when converting all 5 launch prices (RRP) to US dollars, as of February 8th, from least expensive to most expensive:
US = $249.99
JP = $304.10 (Â¥25,000)
EU = $340.86 (€249.99)
AU = $354.57 (A$349.95)
UK = $369.55 (£229.99)

That's too bad.

What about New Zealand, TUK? I read that it is NZ$435 or something... it would be fun to put that in the table too, heh.

But oh well, not much we can do about this. Apart from write threatening letters to Nintendo Australia, where we sign our names with blood (don't worry, we actually just use nail polish... but THEY'LL never know...).

If the Australian and New Zealand prices are directly converted, A$349.95 = NZ$457.82, which is most likely what the price will be. But don't forget, the UK has the most expensive RRP.

Your lucky. $349.95 isn't bad (if you got the money). I'm not surprised at the price though. I had a feeling it would be pretty pricey anyway. My guess before hand it would have been around about the 300 - 400 dollar mark.

Oh yeah, you're right, I forgot that the NZ was converted from the Australian price, heh. I got an e-mail saying that anyway.

Also, poor ol' UK. What'd it do to deserve this?
