This year, an average employee from Nintendo will generate a yearly income of $1.6 million which is more than the $1.24 million income an average Goldman Sachs employee earned last year. The fact that their own products are outsourced, such as the Nintendo Wii, DS and first-party titles, means that the company is capable of making a huge amount of money with a smaller staff than Sachs.
But due to Nintendo's shareholders, the mean sum for Nintendo employees was $90,900 compared to Goldman Sachs's $660,000. With the Nintendo Wii and DS consoles still in high demand, employees from the big N are looking forward to a hefty holiday bonus this coming season.
