The death and damage toll from the catastrophic earthquake and resulting tsunamis in Japan recently continue to rise. But everything is ok at Nintendo. A tweet from the Nintendo America's official twitter feed reads:
Along with shutting down some online services and delaying games, The Japanese gaming insdustry is donating money to Earthquake relief efforts as well. Here's a list of who is giving what (From AndriaSang.com):
Tecmo Koei: Donating 10 million yen to Japan Red Cross. Also taking donations from employees and the general public.
Sega Sammy: Donating 200 million yen.
Nintendo: Donation of 300 million yen.
Namco Bandai: Donation of 100 million yen through parent Bandai Namco Group. The company will also be suspending operations in arcades where power conservation is needed, and will be holding back on events.
5pb: will slash the price of iOS Memories Off 6 T-Wave from ¥2,000 to ¥350 and will donate all sales of the app through March 31.
Sony Group: is giving a donation of 300 million yen and 30,000 radios.

one good thing is japan has a lot of money making companies in their land, so money (yen) should be no issue for them.
"During the earthquake no one at Nintendo in Japan was injured and there was no apparent structural damage."
