Producer and Director of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, a MMORPG game by Square Enix, Naoki Yoshida has revealed to DualShockers that a port of the game could come to the Nintendo NX, but there is still things to consider first.
Square Enix has already caused interest in Nintendo's new system by announcing that Dragon Quest X and Dragon Quest XI could both be coming to the NX, so we are not really surprised about this.
Yoshida said that they are waiting for a release date for the new console before making anything official. They are also wanting to see what Nintendo's policy will be regarding cross-platform gameplay which is a big deal for Square considering the large userbase on PC. According to the developer, they have still to start discussion with Nintendo.
