Nintendo Power Magazine Ending

Sad news any Nintendo power readers, it would appear that the long running nintendo game news magazine is ending.


I just hope we get our money back on issues we already paid for.

Why are they closing down? And I never really liked subscribing to magazines. Only reason why I get Game Informer's or Gamer is because GameStop and Best Buy's Power Up/Gamer's Club.

I have no idea, but from what I have gathered from online comments, the quality of the magazine has gone down and they don't seem to be embracing the whole digital move thing.

I thought their articles were good, but at times I feel they put too much personal thought into it.

Journalists shouldn't be adding opinion into articles, only reviews.

I used to read them occasionally in random stores, but I don't think I ever bought one.

I subscribed to Nintendo Power a while back but it's been quite a while since I've had a subscription. It's really quite sad though, I used to love Nintendo Power back in the day and I really hope that in the future they can start back up. Nintendo Power is how I got so good at AC:WW pattern making. They had a few in one issue, I made them in my game and then from there I just made my own of the same quality.

I highly doubt they will stand back up ever again. The staff is sure to head to other magazines and any future magazines would be renamed.

Anime Insider has been dropped since 2009 unfortunately, which sucked cause it was one of the best anime magazines out there, since then I have been getting a French one.

I never really read Nintendo power, the only gaming magazine I would read is GameInformer

that's a good magazine and now the only one covering Nintendo games.
