The company released the preorder link for the Nintendo 64 Controller and the Sega Control Pad around the same time as the announcement of the pricing for the new tier. It only took about 2 or 3 hours, but the pre-orders through Nintendo are now sold out. The button to pre-order is now replaced by a placeholder red button saying "Temporarily Sold Out." The Sega Genesis Control Pad, also $49.99, is still available.

The controller is designed to look and feel just like its 1996 counterpart, except now the 1997 Rumble Pak feature is built-in. Additionally, the Nintendo 64 controller has new buttons for Switch-specific support and a USB C port and cable for recharging.

That sucks. I really wanted one to play Paper Mario and Kirby. I don't have to have it, but it would've been nice. I'm not paying Scalpers $120 for a controller.

Hopefully, Nintendo can make more N64 controllers for people who want one, so they don't need to pay a scalper a lot of money to buy a N64 controller.
