Multi Nintendo Switch OLED's come with Protective Screen

As a result of the OLED glass screen, Nintendo decided to include an “anti-scattering adhesive film” with the Switch OLED model in case the screen was to break. If the Nintendo Switch OLED screen was to break, the anti-scattering film would protect the user from shattered glass.

Nintendo has confirmed that the anti-scattering adhesive film should not be removed. For those that are interested in adding another piece of protection on top of the anti-scattering film, it should be noted that Nintendo sells OLED Model screen protectors that fit on the new hardware. At the moment, the price for this first-party screen protector is $20, but it also includes a carrying case for the console.

As some fans have stated, the anti-scattering adhesive film is difficult to see.

I'm guessing Nintendo included a protective clear film, so they don't risk getting sued or complaints on Twitter and Facebook by someone who breaks their Switch's glass and stabs themselves.
