Nintendo Nintendo Switch Update Adds Bluetooth Audio

In a recent tweet by Nintendo of America, the company announced a new update now available for the Nintendo Switch. For the vast majority of people, the major highlight of this update is support for Bluetooth devices. While Bluetooth functionality is a welcome addition for gamers, Nintendo’s implementation of the feature does come with some restrictions. Players can only use 2 wireless controllers at a time when a Bluetooth-supported audio device is connected. In addition, only 1 Bluetooth device can be paired at a time. However, the company noted that 10 devices can be stored on the console. Beyond these restrictions to audio output, the company also revealed that Bluetooth microphones are not compatible.

This is exciting. Idk how often I'll use my headphones while playing the game, but I'm at least glad we have the feature now. Never know when it could come in handy.

This update would be useful for users who own higher quality Bluetooth speakers and headphones, so they can listen to their Switch's audio with speakers or headphones with louder volume and more bass.

Pretty sure this means you can just now hook up a PS4 or Xbox controller to it without the need of extra wireless equipment which is awesome.

Its nice to hear about Nintendo coming into advancement, by bringing the Bluetooth feature into its console platform. I first saw the Bluetooth feature via PS earlier on, I believe such motivated Nintendo switching to Bluetooth addition.

That's simply additional feature, without the Bluetooth feature, it will work normal for sure.

I'm not so sure this is something I'd use with my Switch. But it's a nice feature for the people that will be using it.

That must be a good way of using controls in sound and music,I guess its a step up in the company's updates.Its such a difference to make considering the way just now comes to my personal bluetooth headphones could work with my switch lite.

I feel allowing Bluetooth audio will make some music games more interactive and fun for some users.
