According to the general manager of Nintendo of Canada Pierre-Paul Trepanier in an interview with Alphabeatic, Nintendo has some big partnerships to announce at the E3 conference next week. "We still have those great, big third-party partners like Ubisoft who continue to invest in our platforms," he stated. "In the next few weeks at E3 you'll be hearing about more big third-party partnerships."

Should be interesting for Nintendo, could see them gain some popularity in terms of console sales.

about freaking time, but it better be all for the NX. Wii U is a lost cause.

They aren't willing to announce the new console yet so doubt they would announce third party support for it.

Hopefully the third party support is mainstream games and not all the casual singing/dancing crap.

The Wii U isn't a lost cause, why do people keep saying this?

Sure it was pretty bad in the beginning but 2014 was a great year for the console with Smash Bros, Donkey Kong and Smash Bros coming out. Sales did pretty good. This year so far Splatoon coming out and Super Mario Maker and Yoshi's Wooly World coming out later the Wii U has plenty to offer. Also the new Zelda and Super Mario Galaxy 2 are going to be great as well. Never will understand why people are still so negative on the Wii U.

Smash bros and splatoon will only keep a person playing for so long. Yoshi's game looks fun but not a huge console game. Zelda U is still in the air and whats this about a SMG2?

Star fox will breath some life into the console, but 1st party only does so much. Wii U needs 3rd party support and that is why it is a lost cause because it don't have that.

Well we didn't get too much as far as 3rd party support outside of the Fire Emblem crossover. I think that Nintendo is just going to rely on tehir own games from now on. Yeah of course now and then they will get games like Xenoblade, but overall I don't see 3rd [parties jumpoing on the bandwagon anytime soon. Who knows though, if the NX is an extremely powerful console, maybe the otehr companies will want to design on Nintendo consoles.
