Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS will not receive any future balance patches, series director Masahiro Sakurai said in a recent interview.
According to a translation from EventHubs, Sakurai told Famitsu magazine that he has no plans to adjust or balance the gameplay any further.
"If we were to do something like tweak characters' customized special moves, then there'd be no end to it," Sakurai said in the interview.
Sakurai says the development team will now focus on the game's online play, but will address any "glaring issues" if they arise.
